Ed: Ashley - you are a spammer with a poor command of the English language to boot. I hope no-one is paying you to add this inappropriate rubbish. If they are, they've been ripped off. I hope it doesn't come back to haunt Mr. Obama. It was what I think of as 'a moment in history' speech and some of his statements were rather optimistic. Having said that, I hope he succeeds in changing things.

In response to:Bob and Barack

Hubby tried the same B the B on me this morning. It fell flat as I have never watched B the B and having it explained didn't have quite the impact hubby had hoped.

It is likely therefore, that there will be a swathe of Americans who know nothing of Bob the Builder and will relate the 'we can do' and 'Yes we can fix it' to what they have been taught from knee high, irrespective of whether the words have any substance or not. That's been a major part of the problems we now see; lack of substance.

In response to:Hedge fund traders emulate Beastie Boys fans

That's a nice reverse gear, isn't it Lois.
I was interested to hear about the hedge funds VW transactions; they obviously had not done their homework with this company.

However, I don't want to get into the one track blame game, that would be too easy. What the incident does demonstrate to us unwitting members of the public, is, how such trading does work and how it can be neutralised. Someone somewhere, should take keen note.

In response to:Hedge fund traders emulate Beastie Boys fans

here have one on me
Rolf Harris' song comes to mind 'peg-a-leg'

What's the procedure if you're on crutches without the use of a foot? The base of a crutch takes a lot less space than even a baby's foot.

I wonder if babies will become a quarter of the cost if they are crawling or toddling, up to two and a half years, and kids up to size 9 children's fitting will become half price.

I have to say Lois, I wasn't aware that cars had legs.
Our body parts, and/or car parts, or any parts, are governed by Brent Crude Oil prices - that's whacky. Which communication department did the MD of Wightlink graduate from?
